Fabio painter

Fabio is born 37 years ago in the South West area of France called « Béarn ».

Even though nothing predestined him for this form of expresssion, we can say that painting came to him but not the opposite.

He used to paint in black and white until the convincing meeting which led him to integrate color in his paintings. These primitive and intense art works are at the artist’s image, intuitive on edge.

No doubt that this will touch the ones among us for whom life is neither a straight line, nor a long quiet river.

" I don’t remember of an art work or a painter which has given to me the desire to paint. It is part of me as the color of my eyes or of my hair. It just awaked belatedly. "

His first work, painted on ... a plank, with a few gouache tubes found in the back of a drawer, augured what he now produces:

" To paint has become vital. I’m an addict. I can feel it physically, in my stomach, like a lump that wants to go out and that will express the mood of the moment. "

Fabio’s art work are at his image, wholehearted and intense.

Some have a meaning. Some convey intentionally a message, some don’t. But no need to look for a meaning of his art work to appreciate it because what catches the eyes first when discovering is the harmony and strength of colors :

" I don’t know if we can call this a gift but it is true that colors speak to me and that I combine them quite easily, intuitively. "

Fabio is not really interested in other painters, not by contempt or lack of concern but just only for his internal world to stay free from all external influences, as far as possible.

As just new in the world of art, his too first exhibitions in the town of Pau (West South of France) have been a sucess and he got new propositions

So the road is quite opened.
